Experience

Freelance Photographer (Greater New York Area) - c.b.Kidd

January 2013-- PRESENT (6 years and 11 months)

My strong points and favorite styles are portrait, candid, and concert photography. However I am versatile and able to shoot all types of photography as well like lifestyle, nature, behind the scenes, and commercial styles. Most of my work emphasizes on the intimacy and emotions of the performer instead of the actual act of performance. Many of my images capture the vulnerability and intimacy in people, places and things that would not be considered conventional to most. Some notable venues I've shot in are The Town Hall, Brooklyn Steel,Rough Trade, and Mercury Lounge. Some of my notable Shoots and clients are Caroline Rose, Bodega, Thee Oh Sees, Angel Olsen, High Waisted, Jessica Louise Dye, LEAP NYC, Q. Smith, Pom Pom Squad and The Number Twelve Looks Like You. Proficent in both Adobe Suite and Capture One. I can additionally provide graphic design or video work upon request.
